The LJR Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 Navy was designed by Teddy Santis in collaboration with New Balance. The model was released as part of a capsule collection in October 2020 with the tagline "Building International Friendships Through Basketball". Featuring a classic smooth white leather upper and navy accents, the shoe is reminiscent of the 1990s styles that inspired much of Santis' design. The right heel showcases an apple-shaped basketball graphic in homage to Santis' "Big Apple" hometown of New York City.
